Yu launches Yutopia for Rs. 24,999 with a 2K display and 4GB RAM

Yu televentures has finally launched the much awaited Yu Yutopia in the country for a price tag of Rs.24,999. Yu was teasing this phone for a long time with certain posters on their website and social media accounts, finally the device is here. Yutopia is termed as the most powerful phone by the company.

Yu Yutopia comes with full metal body design made out of aircraft grade aluminum which makes the device 90% stronger that the normal devices made out of polycarbonate. Yutopia also features embedded antennas which are 40% thinner than the standard embedded antennas. The device features a symmetrical design and also comes with the saturn ring on the back.

Yutopia comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is built on 64-bit architecture. It also houses Adreno 430 and 4GB DDR4 RAM which consumes 37% less battery than the DDR3 variant. The device comes with 32GB internal memory which can be expanded via microSD card.

Yutopia has got its components from different companies. The 5.2 inch display has been manufactured by SHARP and comes with a 2k (2560 * 1440) resolution which sums up to a pixel density of 565ppi. The device also boasts a 21MP camera by Sony on the back which comes with dual tone LED flash and can record 4K videos along with HD videos at 120fps. On the front, Yutopia cases an 8MP camera and has a f/2.2 aperture.

Yutopia also supports 4G LTE connection. The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box along with Cyanogen 12.1. It is juiced with the help of a 3000mAh battery which promises to give you a backup of 8 hours. It also supports quick-charge 2.0 which can charge the device from 0-60% within just 30 minutes.

The device has been priced at Rs. 24,999 and is available for pre-order. The device can be bought on Amazon India.
