Meizu MX5E launched in China with 16MP Camera

Meizu recently launched MX5E smartphone in China priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 17,400). The handset has been listed on the company’s store. Compared to MX5, which was launched months ago, MX5E is slightly cheaper and comes with toned-down features. As of yet, we have no idea if the handset is going to be available outside the country.

The Meizu MX5E sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super Amoled display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Its powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor (Cortex-A53) clocked at 2.2GHz that comes coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device houses 3GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 16GB via a microSD card.

The device runs on Flyme 4.5, it’s Android version is not yet known. As for the camera, as compared to the MX5’s 20.7-megapixel camera, the Meizu MX5e sports a 16-megapixel rear camera. Both the handset sports 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Talking of connectivity, the device supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB options. The device runs on a powerful 3150mAh battery.

We’ve heard that Meizu is going to launch its Meizu m3 Note in a couple of days. Its worth mention inn that the phone is going to run on Helio X10 MediaTek MT6795 SoC processor, 3200mAh battery and will feature 5.5-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/ 32GB memory storage. It is supposedly priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8,000) for 16GB version and CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,000) for the 32GB one.
