LeEco Launches Le 1s (Eco) – First ‘Made in India’ Smartphone at Rs. 10,899

While launching ‘Supertainment’ services in India, LeEco also launched a new variant of Le 1s smartphone called the Le 1s (Eco) at a price of Rs. 10,899. Regarded as a ‘Made for India’ and ‘Made in India’ smartphone, it offers a free subscription to LeEco Membership for a year (which originally costs Rs. 4,900. The device will be available in a flash sale on May 12th from 2pm at Flipkart. And the first 100,000 units will be offered at a special introductory price of Rs. 9,999.

Intex Aqua Lions supports 5.5-inch touchscreen with 1080×1920 pixel In-cell IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 403ppi. It’s powered by 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC clocked at 1.85GHz, that comes coupled with a 3GB of RAM. The handset has got 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. Lions runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports 5-megapixel selfie camera and 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera. The device is powered by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery. The battery sports SuperCharging feature that charges the device in just 5 minutes and provides a talk time of around 3.5 hours.

The device offers support of 10 Indian languages which includes Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Marathi, Oriya, Telugu, Punjabi and Tamil.

One of the highlights of the device is that, it sports a mirror-surfaced fingerprint sensor with a 99.3 percent precision rate. And for connectivity options, the device includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India)3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and Infrared connectivity support. . So far as sensors are concerned, the phone has got Proximity sensor, Accelerometer. The device measures 151.1×74.2×7.6mm and weighs 169 grams.

LeEco has announced their intention of of opening 550 more service centres in the country and setting up a 24/7 live chat service in 8 different languages.
