And it has stated that the Nintendo Switch is going to come out on the market in the month of March.
The announcement has come in from Nintendo that the Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3. And that will bring to rest all the speculations that have come regarding the probable Nintendo Switch release dates alongside the probable price tags of the device. The concerned gaming console for the first time was announced by its developer way back in the month of October and finally we will be able to get the first looks of the device on March 3.
The gaming console will come out with a price tag of $299.99 in the USA which is equivalent to £279.99 in the UK. However, there has been a considerable amount of dissatisfaction among the fans regarding the price of the accessories that will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch which will have looks similar to that of the Joy-Con controllers. In one of the tweets by games writer Pat Contri, sheer dissatisfaction regarding the price of the accessories has been reflected regarding the high price. The Pro Controller will cost $69.99, the Joy-Con controller $79.99 and the spare dock $89.99.
Besides the price tag of the gaming console and its accessories, a number of other details have been revealed as well. The Nintendo Switch will come out with an internal storage of 32 GB which is expandable through a MicroSD card slot. The multi-player gaming mode will be available for free for the initial phase and later on some amount will be required to be paid to keep on playing. Alongside that, a smartphone app will also be there to provide the gamers with the opportunity to chat with the co-players while in multiplayer. One thing that comes as a highlight of the Nintendo Switch is the abolition of the regional which will enable the players to play games on the gaming console irrespective of the geographical location.
It has also been revealed that as many as 80 games are under development which will feature in the upcoming gaming console. And the list includes a new game from the Mario series. It will be termed as the Super Mario Odyssey. Other games that are expected to come out with the Nintendo Switch we have a new Fire Emblem game, Xenoblade Chronicles, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Legend of Zelda.
It is believed that the gaming console is going to be one of the better gaming consoles from Nintendo, particularly after the disappointment of the Nintendo Wii U. However, it remains to be seen how it performs once it hits the market in the month of March as a lot will depend on the success of the Nintendo Switch.
