Swipe Technologies, the budget smartphone manufacturer, has introduced its newest offering in India, the Swipe Elite Power. It packs in a mammoth 4000 mAh battery alongside fairly regular but not outstanding features. The new Elite Power model will sport an all-metal body and supports 4G with VoLTE as well. A fingerprint sensor for additional security is located on the rear panel. Available exclusively on Flipkart, the new smartphone goes on sale on January 31, which is tomorrow.
Swipe Elite Power Specs and Features
The latest offering from the budget smartphone manufacturer boasts of a decent 5.5-inch HD screen. The resolution is a regular 720×1280 pixels and the display type is In-Plane Switching or IPS. The phone is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor which is mated to the Adreno 304 GPU. A 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage is on sale, although the phone will feature expandable memory of up to 32GB thanks to the onboard microSD slot. The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The new Swipe Elite Power has a hybrid dual SIM capability with a micro and a nano SIM combination possible or a microSD card replacing the nano SIM.
Swipe Elite Power Camera and Battery
Without a shred of a doubt, the single biggest draw for the Swipe Technologies offering is the 4000 mAh battery. This mammoth battery will offer enough juice to allow 240 hours of standby time, which can be roughly equated to 15 hours of 3G talk time or 13 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing activities. The camera features are not very impressive, keeping in mind its budget smartphone nature. The Swipe Elite Power has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while a 5-megapixel front camera will be able to take decent still pictures and selfies. The Elite Power will also sport a fingerprint scanner on the back panel for an additional layer of security.

Available on Flipkart as an exclusive product from Tuesday, the new Swipe Elite Power will come in colour variants of Space Grey and Champagne Gold and is priced at Rs. 6999. The new smartphone will ship with a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio capabilities and will be pretty handy with dimensions of 156.5 x 77 mm x8.8 mm only. The Swipe Elite Power also features Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Being a budget smartphone, Elite Technologies are confident that the new device will do reasonably well, both for consumers who are looking for a cheaper offering as well as for those who wish to buy a second smartphone for emergency purposes.
