The Beijing-based consumer products giant is looking forward to the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix and so are we. Samsung, on the other hand, will look to upstage Apple as the world’s leading smartphone manufacturer. If everything goes according to plan, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix will go up against the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a clash of giants. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to have two variants as well, with 64 and 128 GB internal memory (expandable via dual micro SD cards) coupled with 8 GB RAM. The Galaxy S8 wins this round. The Galaxy S8 is said to launch two variants with a 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch AMOLED display. While the Mi 6 Mix does seem ahead on this count, reports indicate that Samsung is working on a 6-inch AMOLED display model as well.This development should spice things up. The Xiaomi smartphone will feature a reported 100 percent screen-to-body ratio while the S8 have a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Mi 6 Mix also has a fingerprint scanner embedded on the screen. It also features phase detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilizer, dual-LED flash. The front camera on the Mix and the S8 is 8 MP. The Samsung Galaxy S8 wins this round by a narrow margin. Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix vs. Samsung Galaxy S8: Features The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated smartphones to launch in 2017. The Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix sports an impressive 4000 mAh battery while the Galaxy battery specs is unknown but will not disappoint. The Mi 6 Mix will have a wireless fast charging feature that is capable of charging from zero percent to 60 percent in 30 minutes. As for the Samsung Galaxy S8, expect wireless headphones, wireless charging and possibly an S Pen with a USB Type-C port for headphones. The Galaxy S8, however, has two AI voice assistants called Bixby and Kestra and will probably be more efficient as well as user-friendly.
