A number of smartphones are scheduled to release this year and the latest news that has made an appearance on the scenes informs about a new smartphone from the house of Sony. Sony Pikachu as it is called has been lately spotted in one of the benchmark websites which has revealed a number of features of the smartphone.

The image that has come up on the online media reveals that Sony Pikachu is going to hit the market with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. And the image has its source on the website of the benchmark website GFXBench. Not only that, a number of things other than just the operating system have come to the fore, courtesy to that image. Sony Pikachu is expected to sport MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 SoC clocked at 2.4 GHz under the hood. It will also have ARM Mali-T880 MP2 (dual-core) as the GPU if we go by the image that has come up.

Sony Pikachu is expected to hit the market with a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB native storage. The camera is also going to be quite formidable as the image has suggested. The rear camera is going to sport a 21-megapixel lens while the selfie shooter is expected to be of 8 megapixels.
