OnePlus 3T Black Color Variant Could Be Available Once Again

OnePlus had been teasing of a new color for the beginning of March. Then the limited edition OnePlus 3T black color variant was rolled out on March 21.

OnePlus 3T was launched in November 2016 with only two color variants – Gunmetal and Soft Gold variant. Now The Chinese company Tweeted from their official account teasing of something the limited edition black color variant of OnePlus 3T. And the best guess is that the company will be announcing the wider availability of the new color variants.

The company first shared a Tweet yesterday night at 9 PM and went on to Tweet another mysterious message at 11 AM. We are expecting an announcement at 9 PM IST. Earlier OnePlus only launched 250 units but hopefully, the new announcement will be about more Black edition OnePlus 3T.

Speaking of the handset, it sports with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and 1080×1920 pixels at 401 PPI. The handset is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that comes coupled with 6GB RAM. The device will be sporting a 64 GB internal memory that unfortunately cannot be expanded.

As far as the camera goes, the OnePlus 3T features  16-megapixel rear camera and 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The handset is a dual SIM handset and accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. It runs  Android 6.0.1 and measures 152.70 x 74.70 x 7.35 while weighing 158.00 gram. The device is backed by a 3400mAh non-removable battery, and it supports the company’s Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging technology.

While the sensors of the smartphone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. And the connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).

Earlier this month, OnePlus 5 was spotted on Korea portal, and apparently, the phone will sport 6GB RAM with the 23MP rear camera. OnePlus 5 will be featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor that promises a 27% boost in performance and a 40% increase in battery efficiency.
