Gionee has been one of the most popular Chinese smartphone developers which have been in the headlines of the news for the new smartphones which are expected to hit the market in the course of the year 2017. And the latest updates which have hit the market reveal that Gionee S10 and Gionee S10 Plus have been listed on GFXBench and TENAA revealing a lot about both the smartphone.
It has been a long time ago that Gionee S9 came out on the market and the Chinese smartphone developers have come up with the alleged successor of the smartphone. The TENAA images of the smartphones have revealed that the smartphones come with model numbers Gionee S10C and S10B. The S10B is expectedly the higher-end variant of the S10C and have few upgraded features.
The images of the Gionee S10 with codename S10C in TENAA have revealed that the smartphone comes with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch display which supports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The rear camera comes equipped with a 13-megapixel lens while the front camera has got a 16-megapixel lens. The smartphone will run on an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a 3,100 mAh battery.
The other smartphone has also been spotted on TENAA and it comes with a model number Gionee S10B as mentioned above. Under the hood, this device sports a MediaTek MT6755 chipset (Helio P10) coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is certainly much better than what it is in the S10C. Other than that nothing much differs between the two smartphones. However, a few days back the GFXBench listing of the smartphone revealed that the smartphone would come with a 12-megapixel single lens rear camera. But the TENAA listing reveals that Gionee S10 Plus will have a dual-lens setup both the lens being of 13-megapixels. The battery back-up of this smartphone is going to be of 3,700 mAh.
However, it remains to be seen what the actual features of the Gionee S10 and S10 Plus turn out to be. And the confusion that has been created regarding the features of the smartphone can only be cleared once there is an official announcement and it is expected to come out very shortly.
