The Japanese tech conglomerate Sony is all set to launch their latest flagship device, the Xperia XZs in India today through an event which is scheduled to take place in Delhi at 2 PM. A couple of months ago, Sony first unveiled this coveted smartphone along with another premium handset named as Xperia XZ Premium and two mid-range handsets Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra during the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The brand new Xperia XZs is a smaller variant of the Xperia XZ handset, which was launched last year.
The Sony Xperia XZs comes with a pack of incredible features and surely the optics department is the most interesting of them all. The handset boasts of a new Motion Eye camera system as well as equipped with the memory stacked Exmor RS sensor technology. With that inclusion, Xperia XZs becomes the first handset to feature such mind-boggling camera features which are usually found on high-range compact cameras. The handset features a 19-MP rear camera accompanied by Predictive Capture, Triple image sensing technology, Super slow motion 960fps video capture, Anti-distortion shutter,5-axis stabilization, predictive Hybrid Autofocus, and 4K video recording. On the front end, a 13-MP Exmor RS for mobile image sensor has been included accompanied by f/2.2 aperture speed, ISO6400 and 22mm wide angle lens for taking better selfies and video calls.
Apart from the camera features, the brand new Sony Xperia XZs comes with a 5.2-inch full HD Triluminos display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset associated with a 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The Xperia XZs is available in two variants depending on its storage capacity-32GB and 64GB.
Moreover, the Sony Xperia XZs runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is IP 68 certified which makes the device water resistant as well as dust proof. The smartphone features a non-removable Li-Ion 2900mAh battery with the Quick Charge 3.0 technology. On the connectivity front, the Sony Xperia XZs features Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, WiFi, 4G, NFC and USB Type-C. Also, the phone is protected by fingerprint technology. Dimension wise the Sony Xperia XZs measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs only 161 gms.
