Renowned leakster Roland Quandt has tweeted some images along with details of the device, revealing that the ZenPad 3S 8.0 will be powered by the slightly dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with the Adreno 510 GPU.  This new tablet will come in variants with 3GB and 4GB of RAM while internal storage options will be 32GB and 64GB, respectively. The new ASUS device boasts a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and will be powered by a 4,680mAh battery. The rear camera has a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a traditional LED flash. Out front, there’s a 5-megapixel PixelMaster front-facing camera for extraordinary selfies and video calling. Other key features of the tablet include stereo speakers and smart amplifier technology, while the device itself runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, modified with the company’s ZenUI 3.5. The tablet is extremely slim at just 6.9mm and has a metal unibody build with a diamond-cut bevel, as revealed by its promotional materials that can be seen beneath this writing.

Some of the other features of this new Asus tablet will include stereo speakers and smart amplifier technology. As far as the software is concerned, the device will run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, which is overlaid with the company’s proprietary ZenUI 3.5. At just 6.9mm, the metal unibody build also has a diamond-cut bevel.

The new Asus ZenPad 3S 8.0 might just be a smaller version of the ZenPad 3S 10 and might also be a superior version of the ZenPad 3 8.0. Like we mentioned, the new device has still not given up its price tag or its release date for the matter.
