Xiaomi Jason Gets Listed on GFXBench; Reveals Crucial Features

Before the launch of any smartphone, it generally goes through a number benchmarking websites and there is no exception in the case of Xiaomi Jason. This new smartphone which has been spotted on GFXBench is rumored to be a codenamed device although there isn’t any clear indication about that from any of the reports.

The GFXBench listing of the smartphone has revealed a lot of information about the device. The smartphone is expected to run on an Android 7.0 operating system right out of the box. Under the hood the device has been revealed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which is certainly going to make the device one of the better ones in the market of the mid-ranged smartphones. Along with the SD 660 chipset, the smartphone will come packed with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The smartphone comes equipped with the Adreno 512 GPU as well.

Other than the under-the-hood features, Xiaomi Jason comes with a 5.1-inch screen. The handset from Xiaomi is expected to support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which is quite incredible. The camera is the device is also expected to be one of the better ones. While the rear camera will sport a 12-megapixel lens, the front one will have a 3-megapixel one, which might be the 4-megapixel Ultrapixel sensor. The NFC support is also going to be one of the notable features of the device.

There are rumors that the Xiaomi Jason could well be the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 or even the Xiaomi Mi 6c. However, chances are there that this is going to be one of the new line-ups of smartphone from the Chinese smartphone developers.
