Motorola might have got acquired by Lenovo in the year 2014 but the company has been rolling out premium smartphones since its foundation. The Moto X Play which got launched in 2015 was appreciated by most buyers and now it seems that the Indian users will be able to use an updated version of the smartphone.
Reports say that the Moto X Play will be now powered by the Android Nougat (in India). The officials of Lenovo has not yet declared the release date of it but it seems that the news is available on the official support page of the Motorola Mobility India.
And now that we already know that the device would get equipped with the Android Nougat operating system, several users have got quite exhilarated on hearing the news. Therefore, they can’t wait to use the updated version of the smartphone.
The Moto X Play smartphone measures a dimension of 148 x 75 x 10.9 mm and weighs 169 g while the phone is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 and clocks a GPU speed of Adreno 405.
The smartphone features a display of 5.5-inches which happens to be 74.4% screen to body ratio. It has got a fast battery charging facility and is powered by a battery capacity of 3630 mAh. And the phone is available in white and black colored variants.
The Indian users might be expecting quite a lot of changes in the Moto X Play now as it would now get updated with the Android Nougat. Therefore, the users must be waiting impatiently to use the upgraded version of the smartphone.
The Moto X Play smartphone has generally received positive responses and the updated version fo the phone might make the Indian user appreciate the device even more.
