Co-founder of Android and the famous programmer Andy Rubin unveiled the Essential Phone to come with a stellar design. It flaunts a fingerprint sensor and boosts the titanium and ceramic build. In terms of display, the device sports a 5.7-inch edge-to-edge QHD with a resolution of 1312 × 2560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:10. The display size complements the smartphone with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On board, the smartphone features a whopping RAM of 4 GB alongside a native storage of 128 GB. It is powered by an Octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 835 (2.45GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad) processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU, under the hood.
The imaging aspects of this Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Essential Phone is equipped with a 13 MP dual camera setup. In addition, the smartphone will feature a monochrome sensor of the f/1.85 aperture. The selfie shooter of the Essential Phone is housed with a camera of 8-megapixel alongside 4K video recording capability.
