Karbonn Technologies has unveiled a new smartphone in the domestic market. Called the Karbonn Aura Note Play, the device has been priced at Rs. 7,590 and has a large 6-inch display which is very sharp and bright. The new Aura Note Play will come in two color options: Black and Champagne and is expected to be a decent budget device.

The new Karbonn device boasts of a 6-inch HD display which will provide the user with a very good resolution of 1280×720 pixels. There are not many devices which have a 6-inch display at this price range. At the heart of the new device is a Quad-core processor which has been clocked at 1.3GHz. The chipset manufacturer has, however, not been specified. Along with the decent 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, we expect the Aura Note Play will be pretty fast.
The internal storage space will be expandable to up to 32GB thanks to the microSD card support. Also, the new Note Play will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
As far as photography and optics are concerned, the new Karbonn Aura Note Play carries an 8MP rear or primary camera which will be very user-friendly thanks to the auto-focus feature. The pictures will be better and brighter thanks to the LED flashlight which accompanies the camera. The front snapper has a 5MP sensor and is a fixed-focus camera. While pretty good for taking selfies and video calling, it lacks the auto-focus feature, which is a bit disappointing.
Keeping the lights on as far as this budget smartphone is concerned is a pretty neat 3,300mAH Li-ion battery. The connectivity front of the new Dual SIM smartphone includes 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot support, as well as GPS support. There is also a Micro-USB port on board, as well as an Accelerometer, a G-Sensor, while the Proximity & Light Sensors will be useful to the customers as well. All of this can be yours for Rs 7,590.
