Lenovo Unveils Two New Convertible Laptops Yoga 920 and Yoga 720 at the IFA 2017

The Chinese tech conglomerate Lenovo has launched two brand new convertible laptops under the coveted Yoga series dubbed as the Yoga 920 and the Yoga 720 at the ongoing IFA 2017 tech event in Berlin. While the Yoga 720 is a basic variant and features the 7th generation Intel core processors, the Yoga 920 is the flagship device of the series and houses the latest 8th generation Intel core processors. Lenovo Yoga 920

The Yoga 900 series of Lenovo consists the top-notch, multimode convertible laptops and the latest Yoga 920 is the flagship of this coveted series. The Yoga 920 houses 8th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor along with the support for 1 TB PCIe SSD storage and up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. Moreover, this convertible laptop flaunts a 13.9-inch Ultra HD or Full HD screen, depends on which variant you can afford. The panel used in the display segment is an IPS LCD touchscreen one. Needless to mention, the Yoga 920 comes with the company’s trademark watchband-like aluminum hinge.

Lenovo Yoga 920 Specs

Just like the top-end Lenovo smartphones, the Yoga 920 features a fingerprint sensor with the collaboration of Windows Hello, as the biometric authentication to log into your system. Moreover, this brand new convertible laptop also comes with a stylus called Lenovo Active Pen 2 to use the touch screen. The Lenovo Active Pen 2 comes with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and you have to buy it separately. Another interesting feature of this newly launched convertible laptop is it features far-field microphones, which enables the users to speak to Cortana from a staggering distance of up to 13 feet. Lenovo Yoga 920 also sports two Thunderbolt 3 ports and comes with the support for Dolby Atmos sound.

The Yoga 920 will be available to purchase from October and comes with a price tag of $1,330 onwards.

Lenovo Yoga 720 Features

The Yoga 720 is a basic model of this series and flaunts a 12-inch Full HD screen. Under the hood, this convertible laptop is powered by the 7th gen Intel dual-core processor. Comes with a more traditional design, the Yoga 720 supports USB Type-C port and the fingerprint sensor. Although the company has not cleared yet whether the laptop supports Thunderbolt 3 or not.

Like Yoga 920, the Yoga 720 will be up for sale from October and is priced at $650 onwards.
