The Taiwanese tech giant Acer has launched a new convertible gaming laptop under the coveted ‘Nitro’ series in India, dubbed as the Nitro 5 Spin. This newly launched gaming laptop has been made a Flipkart exclusive product and comes with a price tag of Rs. 79,990 (the basic model). Apart from Flipkart, the Acer Niro 5 Spin is also available on Acer exclusive stores and leading retail stores. The biggest USP of this convertible gaming laptop is it features a 360-degree hinge which allows the device to be used in various different form factors.
Speaking of the specifications, the Acer Nitro 5 Spin sports a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS LED-backlit display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and touchscreen functionality. The laptop is either powered by an eighth generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor or a Core i5-8250U chipset. So you can buy the variant of your choice. But whatever processor you will opt for, you will get an 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 4GB GDDR5 VRAM, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card along with it. While the storage option is concerned, this newly launched convertible gaming laptop is available in two different variants- 1TB HDD and 1TB HDD+ 256GB SSD. The premium model which is powered by the Intel Core i7 processor comes with the latter option. Both the variants run on Windows 10 Home OS.
As for the connectivity options, the Acer Nitro 5 Spin features Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, a HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port with Power-off Charging capability, and a normal USB 3.0 port. The laptop is backed by a 4-cell 3220mAh battery which is, according to the company claim, able to deliver up to 10 hours of a rigorous gaming session. Dimension wise the Acer Nitro 5 Spin measures 381.5×258.1×17.9mm and weighs 2.2kg. This convertible gaming laptop also houses one subwoofer, dual front-facing speakers, and a backlit keyboard.
