Domestic tech giant, Intex Technologies, has launched a selfie-centric smartphone touted as the Intex ELYT Dual that features a dual front camera module. The initial attempt to implement best technologies to click selfies effortlessly was made by Oppo as well as Vivo. But this trend continues to grow with newer smartphones launching every now and then. Now, what are the standout features that this low-tier smartphone offers with an affordable price of Rs. 6,999?
Having said that the Indian market is flooded with delightful smartphones starting from Oppo F5 to Vivo V7, the homegrown giant Intex, keeping the trend going, has initiated to incorporate some great features with its ELYT Dual for selfie lovers in India. Equipped with a frontal dual camera setup, the cameras consist of 8MP main and 2MP secondary sensors.
Without costing an arm and a leg, this Intex ELYT Dual happens to be one of the most budget dual camera smartphones. The Product Head-Mobiles of Intex Technologies, Ishita Bansal, stated to IANS, “We promise you that ‘ELYT Dual’ is the best dual-camera smartphone in the sub 7K category for the Indian consumers.” On contrary, for Nidhi Markanday, the director of Intex Technologies, the company has created a new sub-7K category of dual camera devices in the Indian market.
In terms of key specs, the Intex ELYT Dual (as reported) sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and alongside also features 2.5D curved glass on top for extra protection. Underneath, there’s a quad-core Spreadtrum 9850 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. the chipset is teamed with RAM of 2GB and an internal storage of 16GB. The storage capacity can further be expanded up to 128GB by using a microSD card slot.
On the software front, the smartphone runs the Android 7.0 Nougat, out of the box. Powering the device, there’s a 2,400mAh Li-Ion battery. Sensors that are included are Proximity, G Sensor, and Light Sensors. As per availability, the Intex ELYT Dual smartphone comes in two color variants- Black and Champagne colors.
