Moto X4 to be Flipkart Exclusive, Launching in India on November 13

Supergiant Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to make its debut in India with its recently launched Moto X4 smartphone. Today, it seems to have been confirmed that the smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive that is only going to be available via online retailer Flipkart in India from November 13 onwards.

Already the commerce company, Flipkart, has created a page for the Moto X4 launch. In addition, GizmoChina reports that the company has further added ‘4 ‘Es’ — Extraordinary, Exceptional, Excellent and Exquisite’. Furthermore, the page reads, “Experience ‘perfection’ crafted into a smartphone as Motorola brings to you the new Moto X4,” with a hashtag ‘#ExperiencePerfection’.

Originally launched at the IFA Berlin, the main highlight of the smartphone is that it not only features Google Assistant but also Amazon Alexa (as voice-based virtual assistants). To recall, Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch LTS IPS Full HD display and supports a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 424 ppi. In addition, there’s the protection of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4.

Underneath, the Moto X4 houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. There’s a combination of 4GB of RAM  alongside 64GB of native storage. Another variant has been launched by Motorola that features 32GB of internal storage along with a RAM of 3 GB.

On the optics front, the smartphone flaunts a dual camera setup on the rear panel with a 12MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor. Up front, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a LED flash. On the software front, the Moto X4 runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, out of the box. There’s also a fingerprint reader mounted on the home button for added security. As of now, one may wait for the official launch of the smartphone in India until November 13.
