Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has decided to launch the Honor V10 as the Honor View 10 which will be made available in India. It will be an Amazon exclusive product. We have earlier covered the release date of the Honor V10 in India and now that the registrations will start from today, the release is not too far away.
The phones will go on sale starting January 8. Just like the Honor 7X, the View 10 too will be available exclusively from Amazon. Onboard are two color options — Navy Blue and Midnight Black. Honor, which is a sub-brand of Huawei, is yet to announce the pricing strategies of the device.
We have earlier covered in great detail the design details of the Huawei Honor V10. The all-new Honor View10 features a great metal body design and also comes with a great 5.99-inch Full HD+ display that has an 18:9 aspect ratio besides a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, we can see the quality Kirin 970 processor, which has been developed in-house by Huawei. The Kirin 970 SoC has a dedicated NPU while it brings a lot of AI features added to it as well.
The new and improved device also packs an astounding 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the latter of which can also be expanded to up to 256GB via the usage of a microSD card. The phone also features superior dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture. There is a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and is complemented by another 20-megapixel monochrome sensor. As far as selfies and video calls are concerned, there is a 13-megapixel selfie snapper up front too which is pretty decent.
This new Honor View10 has super-narrow bezels; however, we do see the front-mounted fingerprint scanner too. Connectivity options will include Dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.2. Stay tuned for further updates.
