We are just a couple of months ahead of Valentine’s day, which means we are still left to see which smartphone manufactures come with a red (the color of love) variant of their respective devices ahead of February 14. Valentine’s day is the day love, where people exchange gifts as a token of love. To celebrate the day, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced the Honor 7X in a superb red color: dubbed the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition.
According to sources, the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition will be available in 20,000 units in countries such as the US, Russia, India, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and Spain. As per sales, the device is anticipated to go on sales right ahead of February 14. Interested users (from the aforementioned countries) can order the device at the company’s online store.
Those who are interested in the device, the pricing may be slightly higher than the recently launched Honor 7X. To be noted, the initial 100 customers who purchase the Honor 7X Red Limited Edition will “receive a Red co-branded Honor-Monster AM15 headphones as a special gift”, reports Gizbot.
To recall, the Honor 7X comes with a 5.93-inch full HD+ display and supports an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. Shielding the device, there’s a 2.5D glass on top.
Underneath, there’s the Kirin 659 octa-core processor which has been coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device comes in two variants: while one sports a 32GB, the other comes with 64GB of internal storage capacity. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB using a hybrid SIM slot.
On the optics front, the Honor 7X comes with a dual rear camera module which comprises of a 16-megapixel and the 2-megapixel sensor. On the front panel, the Honor 7X comes with an 8-megapixel camera as a selfie shooter.
The device is powered by a massive battery of 3,340mAh capacity, which keeps the phone’s lights on. On the software front, the Honor 7X runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with custom EMUI 5.1 skin on top. The smartphone measures 156.50×75.30×7.60 mm and weighs about 165.00 grams.
