Honor 9 Lite Coming to India on January 17, to be Flipkart Exclusive

The much-awaited Honor 9 Lite, which is a subsidiary of Huawei, will soon arrive in India. In fact, we believe that the device will be released in India on January 17. The Huawei Honor 9 Lite has been extensively covered by us, including when the device was originally launched in late December. The device will be launched in New Delhi at a special event.

This is the second phone from the Huawei Honor brand to have quad-cameras onboard. We also know that this device will be sold exclusively via Flipkart. The specs and features have been covered by us on multiple occasions, including in the second week of December when the device was confirmed to be launched on December 21.

Two of the major highlights of the smartphone are the four cameras onboard and the bezel-less 18:9 display. The device also has a pretty decent price tag of 1,199 Yuan, which is approximately equal to Rs 11,667 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM + 32GB storage variant comes for 1,499 Yuan (or approx. Rs 14,586). Lastly, the most premium 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will come for 1,799 Yuan, again translating to Rs 17,506. As of now, we do not know which version will come to India, however.

As far as the specifications and features are concerned, the Honor 9 Lite comes with a 5.65-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display that boasts a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. In conjunction with most modern phones, this device also boasts an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone boasts the in-house developed HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, the same one that we see on the Honor 9i, as well as on the Huawei Enjoy 7s and the Honor 7X, besides others.

Onboard these devices are 3GB and 4GB of RAM working alongside 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, both of which are further expandable to up to 256GB via the micro SD card slot. Both the front and the rear have dual cameras; a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor are seen on both sides.
