Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has always had an aggressive approach in India, be it smartphones or wearables. After a couple of successful launches of its smartphones in India, the company has unveiled a new wearable named Honor Band A2 in India, today.
Augmenting its wearable portfolio, the Honor band A2 will be available on Amazon India exclusively, from January 8 onwards. The company has also confirmed that the Honor Band A2 is an impressive package that will support the users in achieving their desired fitness levels by workout management and constant monitoring. This will be a follow-up to the Honor Band 3 launched in July last year.
The fitness band comes loaded with a 0.96-inch multi-touch OLED display, along with other exciting features like lift-to-wake and lower-to-sleep.
It is also equipped with a low power heart rate chip that can constantly and accurately monitor the user’s heart rate, through the use of various algorithms. The user can check their heart rate corresponding to the exercise intensity and adjust their state of exercise levels accordingly. In addition to these, the Honor Band A2 can also record the heart rate, time and distance data of a single exercise, whether you are walking, running or even cycling and then display the all-day exercise data like step count and calories burnt per exercise throughout the day on a smartphone connected with the band.
The band can also help you to detect and track your sleep status, diagnose your sleep problems and even come up with solutions. Through a sleep algorithm and heart-rate chip, it can smartly differentiate between deep sleep, light sleep and also awake status. The Honor Band A2 also has other features like interactive call and message reminder, water and sweat resistance with 9 days of battery backup and 18 days of standby time.
Preloaded with multiple workout modes, exercise trajectory, smart alarms, sleep monitoring, message display and even incoming call notification widget, The Honor Band A2 can be termed as a complete fitness tracker and is priced at Rs 2,499 in India.
