Huawei is betting big on the Huawei P20, as we had reported earlier that this device could possibly have a 19:9 display resolution. That said, the phone is also a continuation of the P10 series, which was pretty popular across the world. This is in line with what we have reported earlier. The Huawei P20 is also the flagship phone of this year.
Popular Twitter tipster and leakster Roland Quandt revealed that the Huawei P20 will arrive in different variants. Quandt has also leaked the smartphones’ code names as well as their color options. From what has been leaked, the phones will arrive in three different variants: namely the Huawei P20, the P20 Plus, and the P20 Lite.
Quandt has stated that the Huawei P20 is codenamed as “Emily” and it will have such color variants like Ceramic Black and Twilight colors. The Huawei P20 Plus is now codenamed “Charlotte” and similar to the standard P20, the available colors will be Ceramic Black and Twilight colors. Last of all, the Huawei P20 Lite is now codenamed “Anne” and this will have three different color variants, namely the Midnight Black, Klein Blue, and Sakura Pink.
Also, it now seems that the Huawei P11 will not be arriving; instead, the available model will be the Huawei P20.
We have also covered the design aspects of the Huawei P20, as we have reported earlier. Also, the model will have the triple camera setup, which will be a trendsetter in the industry. The company also has reportedly partnered with none other than Lecia for this project. The Huawei P20 camera is also expected to be composed of one 40MP sensor with a stunning 5x hybrid zoom. The front camera on all of these models is likely to be a 24MP sensor which is also developed by Leica. This means that the company will have DSLR-like abilities.
