Latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Images Now Leaked Prior to MWC 2018

As we already know, the latest generation of Samsung’s phones, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, will be released on February 25, just ahead of the MWC 2018. Renowned Twitter tipster and leakster Evan Blass has now leaked some of the best and the clearest images that show off the details of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will probably start selling from March 16.

Flass reveals that the front portion of the devices is the same when compared to the preceding Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+. A post of the front bezels was also indicated by the same tipster. Now, we know that the device appears to have a dedicated iris scanner as well as a front-facing camera, which finally indicates that Samsung will now adopt the facial recognition technology which will be made possible by introducing the dedicated sensors for scanning.

We also know how the rear component of the upcoming devices looks like. They have revealed that while the Samsung Galaxy S9+ will have a setup of dual rear cameras, the smaller sibling is set to feature a single camera setup. The fingerprint sensor may also have been placed just beneath the camera module which will ultimately make the unlocking a tad easier.

Now for the daily dose of the Samsung Galaxy S9 specs and features. From what we know, the Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, whereas the Galaxy S9+ may have a stunning 6.2 inches display with a similar screen resolution. The phones are set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor but only in the US, whereas all the other countries are set to receive the Exynos 9810 SoC. China will have the most inexpensive variant. The Galaxy S9 is said to arrive with a pretty decent 4GB of RAM besides 64GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy S9+ will boast a 6GB of RAM and is armed with 128GB of internal storage.
