Moto X4’s 6GB RAM Model Debuting in India on February 1

Not even a year has passed, and we see Motorola fans keeping a close eye on every news about what can safely be called the Moto X5. In fact, a couple of weeks ago there was Blass’s leak which denoted the same. We now apparently know that the Lenovo-owned company is all set for a new release which will apparently be held this year, although we are left with no official confirmation. Since we are ahead of the company’s official announcement, let us now go deep into what Motorola Moto X4‘s news points at.

The Moto X4, which was launched at the IFA 2017, eventually went on sale in India as a Flipkart exclusive device. The handset debuted in India was officially available from November 13. Reports now point out that the tech company is now gearing up to launch Moto X4’s 6GB RAM model in the Indian market. What the company has confirmed via Twitter, this variant will be “much faster, smarter and sharper” when compared to the earlier version of the device.

Adding to this, the company teases that the smartphone will come to the Indian shores on February 1. As believed by this teaser, one can safely expect the Moto X4‘s 6GB RAM variant to debut in India on the 1st of February. As for the key specs, the original Moto X4 bears a 5.2-inch LTS IPS Full HD display and supports a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 424ppi.

Under the hood, there’s a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.2GHz. Launched in two variants ( the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage model and the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage option), the phone now will get a new variant with a whopping RAM of 6GB.

The rear panel of the device comes with a dual camera module which measures a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8-megapixel secondary camera sensor along with an aperture of f/2.2. The dual lenses are paired with features such as 4K video shooting, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a dedicated dual-LED flash.

As of now, there are little possibilities that Motorola‘s Moto X4‘s 6GB RAM model may run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, out of the box. And as for pricing, while the 4GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 22,999, the 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 20,999. So we expect a higher price tag of the smartphone’s 6GB RAM variant in India.
