Sony Xperia XZ Pro May Come With Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB RAM, Leaks Suggest

Sony has finally taken the lids off the Sony Xperia XZ Pro. This is the next phone after the Japanese major had unveiled its latest models, which the Xperia XA2, the Xperia XA2 Ultra, and the Xperia L2 smartphones, all of which had been released at the CES 2018. This handset will be called the Sony Xperia XZ Pro.

It will have the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset which will be first unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event that will be held in Barcelona next month. The latest details of the Sony Xperia XZ Pro come to us via a Chinese website, NewsDriver, which you can also access here.

The all-new Sony Xperia XZ Pro may come featuring a dual camera setup which will have an 18-megapixel sensor set with a pixel size of 1.33μm besides a 12-megapixel sensor that will have a pixel size of 1.38μm. As far as the front camera, the device will also feature a great 13-megapixel camera that will be ideal for selfies and video chats.

According to the latest reports, the all-new Sony Xperia XZ Pro may come armed with a 5.7-inch OLED display that will be capable of delivering a stunning 4K resolution. The device will also be powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset that will also be coupled with 6 GB of RAM. An internal storage of almost 128 GB alongside an option to expand via a MicroSD card slot is also expected. Sony’s flagship phone will also feature a splendid IP68 certification. The onboard OS will be the Android 8.0 Oreo and ample juice will be provided via a 3,420mAh battery. The Xperia XZ Pro will also come in two variants: in single-SIM and also dual-SIM variants.
