Honor 7X’s New Red Edition Launched in India at Just Rs. 12,999

Honor’s 7X has been doing the rounds quite often in the tech industry and speaking about the sales, the device seems to go neck to neck with Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A. While Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A with every flash sale gets out of stock (most recently spotted yesterday), the Honor 7X is nothing exceptional (we already know how the sales went dry in its first flash sale following the second one!).

As far as the latest news is concerned, the Honor 7X’s Red edition which was announced a couple of weeks ago has been made official in India at just Rs. 12,999. Labelled as the “Best mid-range smartphone”, the Honor 7X definitely packs in excellent features with an inexpensive price tag. With users’ going-up demand, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor decided to spice things up and hence the red color edition!

Honor 7X Red Variant is Now Official in India

Indian fans have the chance to get their hands on the device which is exclusively available via Amazon India. Earlier the Honor 7X was launched in three color options besides this new Red variant: Gold, Black, and Blue. Although the company hasn’t yet offered anything in details about the availability of the device, we expect the sale to debut ahead of Valentine’s day. As of this writing, the registrations or subscriptions for the new Honor smartphone have been opened on the e-commerce site.

To recall, the Honor 7X sports a 5.93-inch full-screen display alongside supports a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz and is paired with 4GB of RAM. The Honor 7X comes with 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.

In the imaging department, the Honor 7X comes with a 16MP + 2MP primary camera on its rear and up front there’s an 8-megapixel front shooter. It runs the Android 7.0 and powers a 3340mAh battery, which is nonremovable. Measuring 156.50 x 75.30 x 7.60 (height x width x thickness), the device weighs about 165 grams. Honor 7X in the U.S. is positioned to be the topmost smartphone on Amazon’s bestsellers list. Will it prove to be the best smartphone in India too?
