Leaked Teaser Reveals Alcatel Pop 4 May Launch in India on February 16

Several tech companies are offering heavy discounts on their devices along with some online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon India on the occasion of Valentine’s day. Now, Flipkart reportedly has revealed through a teaser on its Valentine’s day offer page, that Alcatel is planning to launch a new device in India on February 16.

As per the listing on Flipkart, Alcatel Pop 4 is going to launch in India at the stroke of midnight on February  16. Nothing else has been revealed on the teaser except a few details like “design meets performance” and a 10-inch  4G Android tablet. The phone is likely to be available for sale from February 16 midnight itself and could be exclusively available on Flipkart only as the teaser has been revealed only on their site.

The Alcatel Pop 4 was actually announced way back in September 2016. It is an Android tablet supporting 4G LTE bands, used in India and rest of the world. The tablet comes with a 10-inch display having a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 430 processor, backed up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space which may be further upgraded by 32GB using an external micro-SD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Alcatel Pop 4 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with full HD 1080p video recording. The camera also features face detection, smile detection, timer, HDR, and face beauty technology. It also boasts a 5-megapixel front camera for video calling and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow version out of the box.

The Alcatel Pop 4 supports connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE and a micro-USB 2.0 port for connecting it to the PC or laptop.

The price of the new tablet has not been revealed yet by Flipkart, but we expect it to be priced competitively keeping in mind the Valentine sale offers.
