Microsoft has officially launched the next generation Surface Pro 2-in-1 laptop range in India. It is available for purchase from today, February 22 itself. It comes with a price tag, starting from Rs 64,999 and is available on Amazon India and Flipkart along with some online retailers and authorized Microsoft dealers.
The basic core m3 model of the Surface Pro is available at a price of Rs 64,999, while the Core i5 model with two variants of 4GB and 8GB RAM comes with a price tag of Rs 79,999 and Rs 1,06,999 respectively. The Core i7 version is also available in two variants of 8GB and 16GB RAM and is available at a price of Rs 1,33,999 and Rs 1,82,999 respectively. Apart from these, Microsoft is also offering some new accessories with these laptop variants.
Coming to the accessories, Microsoft is offering Surface Pro Type Cover at a price of Rs 10,999. The Signature Pro Type Cover is available for Rs 12,999, the Surface Ark mouse for Rs 6,399 and the Surface Pen for Rs7,999 only. The Surface Pro comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2736 X 1824 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2.
The Surface Pro also features 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processor under the hood and is available in multiple variants based on processor types like core m3, core 15 and Core i7 versions. The core m3 version boasts 4GB RAM and 128GB of ROM with Intel HD graphics support.
The Core i5 version is available in two variants with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and the other variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage space with Intel HD Graphics 620 support for all the variants. Finally, the Core i7 version is available in three variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB of flash storage, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage and finally 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage space.
Talking about the camera department, the Surface Pro features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The device also comes with a better battery life than its predecessors with a maximum of 13.5 hours backup.
