Asus Announces Strix GL702ZC Gaming laptop in India; Will be Available from March 20, 2018

Asus has announced its latest Strix GL702ZC gaming laptop in India. It is also the first gaming laptop to be powered by AMD 8-core Ryzen 1700 processor. The latest laptop is now available for pre-order on the e-commerce portal Flipkart and will be made available for purchase from March 20, 2018, and comes with a price tag of Rs 1,34,990.

Asus Strix GL702ZC

The Asus Strix GL702ZC was first launched in May last year and features a 17.3-inch full HD IPS anti-glare display screen with Radeon FreeSync support. It is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 1700 octa-core processor, AMD Radeon 580 graphics unit and 16GB of DDR RAM. It also features a 256GB SATA SSD( Solid State Drive) and a 1TB HDD.

The laptop also features four different display modes, which can be changed with a single click. The four modes are a Normal mode, Vivid mode, Eye Care mode and Manual mode. The Strix GL702ZC also feature the ROG Gaming Centre that will enable gamers to launch ROG applications with just one click and also access the settings menu easily. It works with some integrated applications that include ROG GameFirst IV, XSplit Gamecaster, and Asus Splendid visual technology.

Asus has also revealed that the new gaming laptop features an anti-ghost technology for its back-lit keyboard for correct interpretation of keystrokes, even if multiple keys are pressed at the same time.

Talking about the connectivity options, the laptop sports USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack along with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.

It has been over a year since Asus first introduced the Ryzen octa-core processor powered desktop PCs and it has finally launched the first laptop to feature the most powerful processor.
