Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ 128GB Variants Now Available in India

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S9 duo flagship devices in India. The duo consists of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. The company launched the 64GB and the 256GB variants of the two devices then, and now as per reports, Samsung has rolled out the 128GB variants of the Galaxy S9 duo officially in India. However, there is still no information about its availability.

The smartphone will be available in three color variants of Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple. On the pricing front, the 128GB variant of the Galaxy S9 comes with a price tag of Rs 61,900 while the larger Galaxy S9+ is available at a price of Rs 68,900.

To recall, Samsung rolled out the 64GB variant of the Galaxy S9 at a price of Rs 57,900 while the 256GB variant costs Rs 65,900. As for the Samsung Galaxy S9+, the 64GB version costs Rs 64,900 while the larger 256GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 72,900.

One of the major highlights of the Samsung Galaxy S9 duo devices is the Exynos 9810 SoC that is manufactured by Samsung and is equivalent to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is used on the American version of the handsets.  Apart from that, the Galaxy S9 boasts 4GB of RAM, while the larger Galaxy S9+ variant comes with 6GB of RAM. Both the models feature a micro-SD card slot for further memory expansion.

As for the screen size, there is a minor difference between the two devices. The Galaxy S9 features a 5.8-inch quad HD+ Super AMOLED display unit while the Galaxy S9+ features a larger 6.2-inch quad HD+ Super AMOLED display. Both the devices feature edge to edge display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Coming to the optics department, there is a major difference between the two devices. While the Galaxy S9 features a 12-megapixel sensor on the rear panel, the Galaxy S9+ sports a dual camera setup on the rear panel and both the sensors are of 12-megapixels. On the front side, both the devices feature an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

On the battery front, the Galaxy S9 comes with a 3000 mAh battery while the larger Galaxy S9+ is powered by a 3,500 MAh battery under the hood. Both the devices run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
