Lenovo, which took over Motorola last year will be holding an even in Sau Paulo, Brazil later today. It is expected to launch the Moto G6 series of smartphones that include the Moto G6, the Moto G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play. Over the past few weeks, numerous leaks and reports have appeared to reveal nearly all the specifications of the upcoming Moto G6 series smartphones. Now, just hours before the official launch, the Moto G6 Plus and the Moto G6 Play has reportedly been spotted on a UK based online retailer’s website.
Coming to the Moto G6 Plus, the listing suggests that the smartphone will arrive with 5.9-inch full HD display and a unique dual smart camera system that can recognize landmarks and can also shed more information on them. The listing has been taken down now but according to a report by AndroidPolice, the Moto G6 Plus was listed in Blue and Silver color variants. The listing has also confirmed previous reports that claimed that the smartphone will feature 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage with an 18:9 aspect ratio display screen. It is expected to be running on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with a 3200 mAh battery under the hood. Additionally, it is likely to feature a fingerprint scanner on the front panel with the customary 3.5mm headphone jack.
As per the listing of Moto G6 Play, the device features a 5.7-inch edge to edge display with a rapid focus camera. It is speculated to come with dual-SIM support with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC that is clocked at 1.4GHz. It will boast 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage space. It may also come with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo flavor. A massive 4,000mAh battery will feed power to the smartphone. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner and will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash on both the panels.
The standard Moto G6 has not been listed on the UK retailer’s website by the name of CarPhone Warehouse. However, an earlier report has already revealed all the specifications of the Moto G6.
