Asus has announced the introduction of a new range of its ROG (Republic of Gamers) gaming laptops in India. All the laptops of this range are powered by 8th generation Intel core processors. The Chinese company has unveiled the ROG Zephyrus M (GM501), Zephyrus (GX501GI), ROG Huracan (G21), ROG G703, ROG Strix SCAR, ROG Strix Hero and ROG Strix GL503 notebook range in India. Apart from these, the company has also introduced the ROG Strix GL12 Desktop.
All the above-mentioned laptops and the desktop will be available for purchase before the first half of 2018 comes to an end. Asus has also incorporated the Aura Sync technology in these laptops to enable gamers to personalize lighting according to their needs while playing a game for better and more livelier experience.
Talking about the features of the devices, first, we have the ROG Zephyrus M (GM501) which is claimed to be the thinnest laptop in the world by Asus. It is powered by an Intel 8th generation core processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card to power the most graphics hungry games. It is also equipped with an Active Aerodynamic System so that the laptop can be used for prolonged periods of time without heating.
Second, we have the ROG Zephyrus (GX501GI) which is powered by an Intel core i& processor with NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics unit. It is also deemed to be the thinnest laptop in the world and is at par with the ROG Zephyrus M (GM501). It comes with a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display panel for enjoying movies along with games.
Third, we have the ROG Huracan (G21) which is also powered by an Intel 8th generation core i78 processor with NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU. It comes with a 2.5-inch hot-swap bay and a magnetically secured side cover for better cooling of the laptop.
Then we have the ROG G703 which is the first laptop to be powered by Intel’s Core i9 processor. It is coupled with NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU with a 17.3-inch full HD IPS display screen.
Next up is the ROG Strix SCAR Edition & Strix GL503 which has a new desktop style keyboard that features fast actuating keys, N-key rollover and Aura Sync enabled lighting that can be adjusted according to the user’s choice.
The ROG Strix Hero edition is powered by Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GTX 10 series GPU. It offers a 130 percent wide view color gamut and an N-key rollover.
Last, of all, we have the ROG Strix GL12 desktop that features an Intel Core i7 chipset with NVIDIA GTX 1070 GPU. It also features a 2.5-inch SSD that is very easy to remove and replace.
