Nokia 9 Specifications Leaked Online; May Arrive with a Triple Camera Module and 41 Megapixel Sensor

The Nokia 9 has been a topic of speculations for a long time. Ever since the launch of the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 8 Sirocco at the MWC event in Barcelona in February this year, people have started to speculate about the next flagship launch from the Finnish company. Everyone has been waiting for a premium flagship device from HMD Global, the company that currently holds the license of Nokia. Their wishes could come true now because a specification sheet of the alleged Nokia 9 has been leaked online revealing some of the features of the upcoming flagship device.

The Nokia 9 was expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2018 alongside the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco but that did not happen and people were a bit disappointed. Previously we have also come across a number of leaks of the alleged Nokia 9 and they all shed some light on the possible specifications of the flagship device.

Now an image of the specification sheet of the Nokia 9 has been leaked online by a Finnish website Suomimobili revealing most of the specifications of the upcoming flagship device. As per the leaked image, the Nokia 9 could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB of RAM. It will feature Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. In addition, it may come with a triple rear camera module, an on-screen fingerprint reader, an 18-carat gold finish on the rear panel and an IP 68 rating for water and dust resistivity.

Also as per the leak, the Nokia 9 will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo flavor out of the box and will come with a dual nano SIM specification. It will sport a 6.01-inch full HD AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 8GB of RAM.

However, the major highlight of the flagship device is going to be the camera module. It is likely to arrive with three cameras on the rear panel with a 41-megapixel sensor, a 20-megapixel sensor and the third camera of 9.7 megapixels. In addition, the module will also feature 4X optical zoom, alongside a xenon and LED dual-tone flash. On the front, it will feature a 21-megapixel sensor made by Carl Zeiss optics.
