Apple iPhone SE 2 Render Reveals iPhone X like Display with Notch and Single Rear Camera

While the Cupertino based conglomerate Apple continues to work on the upcoming iPhone SE 2 that is set to become the successor of the iPhone SE, a leaked render of the said device has appeared again. This time it has been leaked by another renowned leaker Ben Geskin that gives us a proper look at the device. In the last few weeks, we have seen a couple of leaks of the iPhone SE 2 that have revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone.

As per the leaked image shared by Ben on Twitter, the iPhone SE 2 seems to have borrowed the design of the front panel from the iPhone X, while the rear panel shows an iPhone SE-like design. The front panel comes with an iPhone X like display with a notch and does not feature any physical buttons on it. The rear panel of the device sports a single camera setup with LED flash.

The render also shows that the power button of the device has been moved to the top edge of the phone which is unlike any other Apple iPhones released earlier. This feature, if implemented would become a unique feature of the Apple iPhone SE 2.

However, there may be certain issues with the iPhone SE 2 if it does come with an edge-to-edge iPhone X-like display panel. This is because the iPhone X comes with an OLED display which is much thinner compared to LCD panels that are expected to be implemented on the iPhone SE 2. OLED displays can be internally curved since they are very thin and this made Apple to design a bezel-less display on the iPhone X without any hindrance. This, however, may not be possible on the iPhone SE 2 since it will come with an LCD display that is difficult to curve.

Apart from these features, past rumors have indicated that the iPhone SE 2 may arrive with a 4-inch display and is likely to be powered by Apple A10 Fusion chipset with 2GB of RAM and two variants of 32GB and 128GB internal storage.

It is also speculated that the iPhone SE 2 may debut at the WWDC 2018 which is scheduled to be held from June 4 this year.
