The latest update includes new themes, dark mode, and a QR code scanner. The update is currently available on the Google Play Store for download. Opera for Android with a new Night Mode and QR Code scanner The most exciting feature of all is the availability of new themes in the latest version. In addition to the regular color themes, users can also opt for dark, light or the classic Opera Red theme options. All the themes are readily available on the settings menu and the users are free to choose or change them at their will. In addition to the themes, the new update also includes a night mode that will enable the users to surf seamlessly at night without any visibility issues. The new dark mode has been designed to put less strain on the eye and provide a more comfortable reading experience in the dark than the regular themes. The night mode can be enabled from the main menu and can be turned off anytime as per the wish of the users. In addition to the themes, the latest version of Opera for Android also comes with an upgraded address bar that will enable the users to copy or paste an URL with a single tap. The updated Opera browser also includes a QR code scanner that can be found on the right side of the address bar. This feature will enable users to visit a particular site by scanning a QR code. Lastly, users of Opera for Android will now get the option to disable trending searches suggestions that pop up on tapping the address bar. Users will be able to enable or disable this feature from the settings menu. In addition to the major changes, Opera for Android version 46 also comes with some hidden features like optimizations for Android devices and a refreshed interface of bookmarks and offline pages.
