The Indian wing of the Japanese tech giant Sony has expanded its smart LED TV range in the country by unveiling a new series. It has launched the Bravia X9000F 4K HDR Android TV in India. The series features 4K HDR display panels and Dolby Vision technology to provide a better TV viewing experience to the users.
The Sony Bravia X9000F series includes three models, the 55-inch X9000F KD-55X9000F which is currently available for purchase at all Sony centers and retail outlets across the country and comes with a price tag of Rs 2,39,900. The two other models, the 65-inch KD-65X9000F and the 85-inch KD-85X9000F are, however, not available at the present time. The company has also not revealed the prices of these two models.
All the Sony Bravia X9000F models feature a TRILUMINOS display that is claimed to produce accurate red, green and blue colors on the screen. The models also come equipped with Sony’s X-tended Dynamic Range PRO that improves both HDR and non-HDR contents by precisely adjusting the backlight levels on all parts of the screen. The LED TV range also comes with X-Motion Clarity that avoids motion blur in fast-moving scenes to provide a better viewing experience.
The Sony Bravia X9000F series is powered by Sony’s 4K X-Reality PRO image engine. The processor works in tandem with Sony’s algorithm of reality creation to provide crystal clear visuals with minute details. The TV runs on Android TV version 7.0 with its own factory built an interface on top. Running on Android TV version brings Google Play store access on board and Sony is also scheduled to bring a software update to enable Smart Home Ready that will entitle it to interact with other smart devices through Artificial Intelligence (AI). Sony has also enabled Dolby Vision support and HDR compatibility for a theatre like TV viewing experience at home. On the connectivity front, the Sony Bravia X9000F series features WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, four HDMI ports, two USB ports and an Ethernet port.
