Judging by the time when OnePlus made their last releases, prediction are that the OnePlus 3 will be launched sometime in Summer 2016, i.e. around June/July.

The OnePlus 2 has received excellent feedbacks, so expectation on the upcoming device is obviously high. The leaked reports have revealed a few specifications regarding the device. That it’s expected to have screen with 1920 x 1080 (full-HD display) resolutions and is likely to be powered by the 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. Since its gonna be an upgrade from the OnePlus 2, the new phone could sport a bigger screen. The device will probably have massive 4400mAh battery for longer screen-on and standby time.
OnePlus 3 Leaked Renders Online
A Chinese website called Mobile-Dad has got hold of render images that shows the front and rear panels of OnePlus 3. They are nothing more than an artist’s impression of the phone. The images tell us that there’s going to be a white and a black model with touches of smooth finish.
The company logo is placed at the centre. The renders do clearly show that the fingerprint scanner no longer sits at the base of the front of the device. And its very likely that below the screen there may be iris-recognition technology or even an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded. Then again because of the integration of the iris-recognition technology – which is increasingly found in Chinese phones these, people are left to wonder what will happen to the ‘power button’. Either OnePlus with go down the Sony route or ditch the power button completely.
