HTC Vive Consumer Edition Launched in MWC 2016

HTC has launched its new HTC Vive Consumer Edition in MWC 2016 before a couple of hours ago. For throwing a stiff competition to Samsung and Sony HTC comes up with the all new features and some of these are really competitive enough to kill the same of Samsung’s and Sony’s! Though nothing has been mentioned about the release date of HC Vive, it’s expected to be in market in April 2016.

Improvements come in all sections including a better head strap and newly upgraded motor. The consumer edition is smaller in size and very comfortable to wear.

This VR can be connected with iPhones and any Android phone easily. With Vive phone services it can deliver all the alerts and messages when you are enjoying the VR.

HTC Vive Consumer Edition- Display

The display of Vive includes two 1080 x 1200 screens which are full HD. According to HTC pixel density is enough to erase all screen door effect. Total resolutions of the screens come to 2160 x 1200 pixels with an aspect ratio of 9:5. Two wireless infrared cameras are attached to track motions. It’s perfected with 37 sensors!

HTC Vive Consumer Edition Release date and Price

The consumer version of HTC Vive will be available in April 2016 as our prediction talks with a pre-orders starting date on 29 February. The Price of this HR headset will be around $799 which is $300 more than that of Oculus.
