Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Set To Launch in India on March 3

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 launch in India is all set for March 3. Following its vibrant launch in China last month (January), there is much excited anticipation among Indian fans of the device. The company has officially confirmed via a forum post that they are going to hold an event at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi for fans to come in and check out the brand new phone on their own.

The highlights of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is that it runs on hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor (four cores clocked at 1.2GHz and two cores clocked at 1.8GHz), comes in three different colours – Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver and is expected to be priced at approximately Rs. 10,000. Beside these, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports an all-metal body and has an amazing fingerprint scanner at the back. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The device has 5.5-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels IPS display, measures around 150 x 76 x 8.65mm and weighs only 164 grams. The Redmi Note 3 is available with tow storage options – that of  2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity. the company has officially announced the price of the latter.  With 4000mAh battery, the device is based on Android Lollipop. It handset dual 4G SIM and comes with 5-megapixel front camera and 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash Speaking of connectivity, Redmi Note 3 supports 4G LTE (compatible with Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB and Glonass.
