Lenovo Miix 520 Release Dates:

It has been reported in Fabnewz that the Lenovo Miix 520 is going to be released at the CES 2017 which is going to be held as early as in January 2017. And that could be very much possible because it is believed to be coming with all sorts of features which can take a head on clash with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 which is scheduled to be unveiled at the CES 2017.

Lenovo Miix 520: Rumoured Specs

The leaks from one of the German websites WinFuture have revealed that the device might come with configurations very close to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It is rumoured that Lenovo Miix 520 is going to have a 12.3-inch display supporting a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. And the highlight of the latest upcoming device is going to be Intel’s 7th generation Kaby Lake processor under the hood. This is definitely going to make this device one of the potential competitors of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Besides this, the Lenovo Miix 520 might also come in four possible variants. And those four are speculated to be running on  2.0GHz Intel Core i3-7006U, 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-7100U, 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-7200U, and 2.7GHz Intel Core i5-07500U respectively.

As different leaks have revealed, the Lenovo Miix 520 is going to have a 16 GB DDR4 RAM. And the internal storage might vary from 128 GB to 1 TB. Also, the external storage of this 2-in1 PC can be expanded with the aid of a MicroSD card. Dual camera setups are no longer an alien thing in laptops as well. And it is speculated that Lenovo Miix 520 is going to arrive on the market with a combination of a 8 megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera. On the front, the latest upcoming might sport a 5-megapixel camera.

Besides this, yet another stunning feature of the Lenovo Miix 520 is definitely going to be the lack of cooler fans under the hood. This is because of the fact it is going to be really incredible to see a laptop without a cooling device and it is rumoured that the power consumption of the device has been revived from 15 watts to 10 watts compared to Lenovo Miix 510.

Also, the Lenovo Miix 520 is going to have a Dolby Advanced Audio technology which will be a great addition to the already present stereophonic speakers. Besides this, the Lenovo Miix 520 is going to have three USB ports, two of those are going to be the USB 3.1 Type C port and the other a USB 3.0 Type A port. It is revealed from various sources that Lenovo Miix 520 is going to have a battery back-up of 10 hours. In addition to all these features, this new device is going to have an optional keyboard cover and active stylus with Wacom technology. Also, there will be a fold-out stand alongside the Watch band hinge.

Lenovo Miix 520 price:

It is expected that there will be a bit of price hike. The Lenovo Miix 510 is priced at 40,000 INR which is around $585. So we can expect that the Lenovo Miix 520 is going to come out with a price tag of around 50,000 INR which is $730 approximately.

This remains to be seen how the Lenovo Miix 520 fares in the market for it will face great competition from the likes of Microsoft and other leading laptop making brands. Also, the closeness of the device to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is going to be a factor how much the users are attracted towards it. However, everything is in a state of speculation and nothing much has been revealed regarding the upcoming Lenovo Miix 520 2-in-1 laptop. The wait for the confirmation of all the news must go on for the time being.
