The Chinese smartphone makers have been in the news for quite some time thanks to the number of ZTE devices that are emerging online. The latest confirmed news is that the ZTE has launched a new handset called the Blade Max 3 and it seems to offer quite a few impressive specification. Before we take a look at those, let me just tell you that the handset is not cheap and comes with a price tag of $199.99.

It’s also probably worth mentioning in the very beginning that the handset will only be available in the US and can be through carrier US Cellular. Just now, ZTE has not said anything regarding further availability.

The ZTE Blade Max 3 offers the following features – 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The handset is powered by a powerful processor – GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 that comes along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The handset runs Android 6.0.1 and is backed a 4000mAh non-removable battery, reports Phone Arena.

The piece of equipment measure 164.00 x 84.00 x 8.89 and weighs 201.00 grams. On the front of the optics, the ZTE Blade Max 3 packs 13-megapixel rear camera along with the 5-megapixel camera. The handset offers a mega 4000mAh battery which means the 31 days of standby time and 40 hours of talk time.

Speaking of connectivity options, the ZTE Blade Max 3 offers Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, GPS, WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth. Sensors that the phone offers include Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and. Compass Magnetometer. That’s all we know about the handset. Hopefully, it’ll soon be available in other international markets as well.

It’s probably worth mentioning that a couple of days back we came across the ZTE Blade L7 when it emerged online after having acquired WiFi certification. The certificate basically tells us that the Blade L7 can support a single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) along with Wi-Fi Direct connectivity features. There is no word on when the ZTE Blade Z7 will be launching but we do know about the features that the handset might offer.

Rumors are that the handset will be an upgrade from the previous Blade Z6. The Z7 will sport a 5-inch touchscreen display and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We won’t see an upgrade on the battery front but does offer better storage which is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. These features are speculative in nature and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
