Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 With 4,100mAh Battery To Go Sale On From 12 PM Today

Privately owned Chinese electronics company Xiaomi is making its latest flagship Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 go on sale today at 12 PM in India. The sale would be available on the company’s official website Mi.com and on online marketplace Flipkart. Available in Matte Black, Grey, Gold and Silver color, the device runs om Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features a powerful battery of 4,100mAh.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three storage variants. The first one is a 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant, priced at Rs. 9,999. The second one is a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant, priced at Rs. 10,999. The third and final one is a 4GB RAM and 64GB variant, priced at Rs. 12,999. It was launched in January this year. It features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080*1920 pixels) 2.5 curved-glass IPS display with a 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC.

Speaking of its camera, the device features a 13megapixel primary camera CMOS sensor clubbed with PDAF, 77-degree wide angle lens, f/2.-0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. It also will come with a 5megapixel secondary camera CMOS sensor, along with an 85-degree wide angle lens.

Its connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/g/b/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, GPS and Infrared. It also has a number of sensors including an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, electronic compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. Weighing 175gm, the device measures 151*76*8.35mm.

Redmi Note 4 is the highest shipped smartphone in India for the first quarter of 2017. Xiaomi is also the second largest smartphone manufacturer in India.

Apart from the two online stores, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will also be available on Xiaomi’s first Mi Home in India, located in Bangalore’s Phoenix Marketcity Mall, as per India Today.

The company is the world’s fifth largest smartphone maker company. It was founded seven years ago in 2010. Lei Jun is its founder and also serves as its CEO.
