The Japanese imaging and optics giant, Canon, has announced its new mirrorless camera touted as the M100. Over the past few years, Canon has been one prominent brand which offers some of the high-end cameras. In fact, the Canon-Nikon rivalry knows no bounds, and it was quite evident from the news we reported here that Canon developers are to bring another top-end beast competing against Nikon’s device. Canon Announces the M100 Mirrorless Camera Canon EOS M100 Key Specs and Features As per the news, the M100 is one standalone model featuring 24.2 MP sensor with a bigger resolution. Although, Canon devs have implemented a similar sensor alike to its M5 and M6 devices. At its heart, fans will be offered with a Digic 7 processor, which allows 6.1 fps shooting as well as ISO range of 100-25,600. One may get their hands on Canon’s Dual Pixel focus system thus improving auto focus speed in terms of video (limited to 1080p) as well as single frame shots. In the design language, the M100 comes with a slimmer body than what fans got with M6 and M10. The M100 is available in two color- Silver and Black. Although, there are nine optional jackets available in the device including red, navy blue, yellow and more. Canon M100 will sport a 3-inch touchscreen display with some manual controls. Canon EOS M100 Price Canon is planning to ship its M100 device in the month of October. One may expect the mirrorless camera to come with a dual kit. While one would be $600 with EF-M 15-45 mm and f3.5-6.3 IS STM lens, the other dual lens kit will sport EF-M 55-200mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM lens with a price of $950.
