Nintendo Switch Is Getting 20 New Games Over The Coming Months

Nintendo claims that their Switch console has been the fastest-selling hardware to have come out from the company, and its popularity is a testament to that. But most previously released Nintendo consoles had come under scrutiny for not having the best titles to accompany them at launch, and the case has been no different in 2017. For all its technical glory, a console is only as good as the games they provide support for. But the situation has picked up over time, and a lot of great games have made their way into the new Nintendo Switch. And going by the latest exclusive Switch showcase, soon there will be plenty more to come.

At the recently concluded Nintendo Nindies event, the company revealed 20 new games that are headed to the Nintendo Switch. Some of these games had been highlighted at previously conducted showcases, but many are brand new. The biggest highlight among these is a new game from Suda51, titled No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again.

The original No More Heroes game from developer Grasshopper Manufacture was launched as a Wii-exclusive in Japan in 2007, followed by worldwide releases in 2008. A sequel, titled No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, found its way into the same platform in 2010. The new game returns once again with Travis Touchdown at its center and focuses on his new adventures. It will be released sometime in 2018.

Here is a list of all other Nindies games that will make their way into the Nintendo Switch over the coming months.

  • Shovel Knight: King of Cards
  • Golf Story
  • Wulverblade
  • Poly Bridge
  • Super Meat Boy Forever
  • Floor Kids
  • Mom Hid My Game
