We had previously mentioned that the two new devices would come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and not the SD 836 SoC as was previously reported. A whole set of new features seem to be destined for the new Google Pixel 2 devices. It will have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It will also give the 3.5m headphone jack the miss as it is the norm these days. We had earlier reported on how the new Google Pixel series would come without the 3.5mm headphone jack while, at the same time, coming with dual rear cameras for the first time in its brief history.
