A Black Color Variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus with Vertical Dual Rear Camera Gets Leaked on the Internet

As the launch date of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is coming closer and closer, more news, rumors, and updates on the upcoming handset is flooding the web world. Recently we came to know about the probable pricing of the smartphone, and now a render leaked on the internet has indicated the probable design and key specs of this much-awaited smartphone. As per the leaked image, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is going to sport a full-screen design and will be available in the all black color variant.

The leaked image has been posted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo by GizChina and apart from the black color variant, it also confirms that the upcoming handset is going to feature a vertical dual camera setup at the back end and will come with a very thin bezel. A few days ago, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus has also passed the TENAA and 3C certification. And according to that certification site, the smartphone will support all the leading carriers in China as well as will support the 5V/2A charging.

As for the specifications are concerned, according to the previous rumors, The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is going to sport a 5.7-inch display with 1080p screen resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Moreover, the handset is expected to be powered by either a Snapdragon 830 or a Snapdragon 825 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity. On the optics front, both the rear cameras are pegged to be of 13-megapixels, although there is no such update on the front camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is expected to make its debut in China on November 11 during the Singles’ Day online shopping festival. The handset is believed to come with a price tag of 999 yuan (almost Rs. 9,800) as per various reports and rumors.
