Xiaomi made its entry-level ‘Desh Ka Smartphone’ official in the Indian markets on December 30. The device eventually went on sale yesterday via Flipkart and mi.com from 12 PM IST at just Rs. 4,999. And nothing unlike Xiaomi smartphones, this device too went out of stock. Since Xiaomi Redmi 5A stocks go dry in the initial flash sale, the company has decided to hold a second flash sale of this Redmi 5A smartphone, and this will happen on December 14. Users who didn’t get the chance to get hold of the device can wait for the second flash sale.
Alike to its first sale, Xiaomi Redmi 5A will be available via Flipkart and mi.com during its second sale. Manu Kumar Jain, the vice president of Xiaomi India has taken it to Twitter, where he stated, “Mi Fans! Your love for the #Redmi5A has been phenomenal! Thank you for supporting the #DeshKaSmartphone! I understand that some of you faced difficulties in placing orders. Our partners are working hard to fix those issues. Mark your calendars. The next sale is on 14th!”

Furthermore, the company has assured that it’ll increase the offline availability of the smartphone by selling it via major retail stores and Mi Home stores across the country.
