BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition Priced At 3,699 Yuan is up for Pre-Orders

In the previous week, the TCL-owned BlackBerry had announced a new variant of BlackBerry KEYone: the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition. Name suggesting the phone to be a bronze version of the device is very much evident. We have in fact seen the presence of bronze color on its frame as well as part of the rear cover of the device.

The company today reportedly has announced that the same BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition has started with pre-orders for in the China markets, making it the initial market where the phone has been made available for purchase. The device in the Chinese shores has been marketed with the name Elite Edition and has already been listed on JD.com for pre-orders. Priced at 3,699 Yuan (roughly converts to $575), the device is similar to BlackBerry KEYone’s Black or Silver variants. In terms of the shipment for the device, it will start on and from 23rd January.

At the CES event during the announcement of BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition, the company made it very clear that the Bronze Edition will be officially launched in the market starting from Q1 2018 in selected markets, which also includes European, Asian, and the Middle East countries. For certain regions, this same device will be available with the Dual SIM support. Besides the change in color, everything else remains same on this BlackBerry device.

To recall, the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition sports a 4.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1060 x 1620 pixels. The phone comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard and houses the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with two variants based on the configuration of memory: 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

In the camera department, the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition comes with a primary camera of 12-megapixel. The secondary camera sports an 8-megapixel resolution. Software-wise, the device runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and powering it, there’s a 3,505mAh battery.
